COVID-19 Service Protocols

For Your Safety

In order to insure the safety of all involved, we are asking that our clients help us limit the spread of the coronavirus. We understand that some of these precautions may be slightly uncomfortable and less glamorous than your previous visits, however these are the standards that we must maintain to safely provide massage and skincare services to all of our guests. We will continually reevaluate and modify these processes as new guidelines are released.

General Precautions for Clients:

  • Guests are asked to please remain in your cars. Please text me to let me know you have arrived and I will respond when it is time for you to enter.
  • Masks are Required for Guests and Therapists in all common areas.
  • Upon entering the spa, you will be met with Hand Sanitizer at the door and your Temperature will be taken with a non-contact thermometer.
  • Guests are asked to please be mindful and courteous in maintaining social distancing from other guests and therapists.
  • All paperwork, appointment scheduling and payments will be handled in the treatment room.
  • If you would like a Non-contact payment option, I am now able to take payments via Venmo. (cash, check or charge are still accepted)

General Precautions for Therapist:

  • Clothes changed between each client, including a fresh mask.
  • Mask and protective goggles are worn while client is face up or side-lying on the table.
  • Hands are thoroughly washed and/or sanitized prior to service, during service and immediately following service.

Treatment Room:

  • Non-permeable barrier on the massage table, directly under the sheets.
  • Non-permeable barrier on all pillows.
  • There is a "mask" under the face cradle so that you may lay face down without your mask on.
  • True Hepa Filter runs in the room at all times.
  • Essential Oil Diffuser - I diffuse 100% Pure Therapeutic Grade Essential Oils and Synergy Blends from Edens Garden, known for their antimicrobial properties: Lemon, Lavender, Cinnamon Leaf, Eucalyptus, Moroccan Rosemary, Sweet Orange and Tea Tree oils.
  • All used linens are removed and stored in a lidded plastic hamper outside of the treatment room.
  • All surfaces, including the massage table, chair, door handles, etc. are cleaned and disinfected with EPA approved products between each client.
  • All tools, including goggles, bolster, fascia blaster, massage cups, tuning forks,essential oil bottles and massage oil bottles are thoroughly cleaned and disinfected after each use.

Common Areas:

  • Restrooms will be cleaned and disinfected hourly or after each use.
  • Lobby area, including door handles will be cleaned regularly with disinfectant wipes and EPA approved products.

The above procedures have been implemented in accordance with recommendations and guidelines from Placer County, the Federation of State Massage Therapy Boards (FSMTB), and the CDC to do our part to help mitigate the spread of Covid-19.
